Sixty-one years ago, my donkey’s Uncle Francis became a movie star.
Hollywood followed him with cameras during the war and showed their footage to the world.
Yes, reality shows existed back in olden times. Well, OK, reality movie shows.
The Bolton Ass’ Uncle Francis joined the U.S. Army and was assigned to the 123rd Mule Detachment.
Even though Francis provided valuable information to trusted soldiers, those soldiers fell victim to unwarranted ridicule. But the bottom line was, his information helped us win the war.
Movie patrons all over the world loved watching The Bolton Ass’ Uncle Francis perform his patriotic duties! The family is so proud of him!
Here’s a film clip of Uncle Francis that Hollywood shared with the world in 1950:

If your donkey’s uncle was your donkey’s father’s brother, then he could not be a mule…they might have been cousins with one having a horse mare Mama (thus the mule) and the other having a donkey Mama, but unless he was adopted there is a problem with the family tree…LOL….
